Campaign executives of Cokorda Buda Suryawan – Nyoman Gede Suweta (CBS-Suweta) going for the next Governor election in a coalition named Koalisi Rakyat Bali – KRB conducted a peaceful campaign. In the second campaign round CBS-Suweta holding Number 2, KRB gave away incenses to each driver crossing Catur Muka roundabout in downtown Denpasar. 10,000 incenses have been given away in the activity conducted yesterday, Wednesday June 25th 2008, which attracted positive responses.

The head of campaign team for CBS-Suweta A.A. Ngurah Gede Widiada interviewed during the event told that this kind of campaign was intended to dissolve barriers between his candidate and people of Bali. “We expect the scent of the incense will spread the good intention of the candidates in bringing bright future by getting into Governor’s seat”, said Widiada.

In addition to the area around Catur Muka roundabout, the team also sent 150 members to other strategic places around Denpasar. Widiada explained that there was an implicit message behind giving away a stick of incense. Incense as a scent normally used to pray spread goodness, symbolizing spread out of respectful name of the candidates, who have respectful reputation and integrity as community leaders. CBS is well known from his two period in the chair of Gianyar Regent.

The activity reflect the leadership nature of his candidates, which considered firm, simple, straightforward, modest, and attentive. Widiada confirmed that CBS knows the capital culture of Balinese community living in traditional rule, significant potential which in the right approach will bring enormous prosperity.
