Therefore the management of Sanglah hospital is now trying to set up an integrated cardio center (PJT). Construction will be started right after a ceremony which will be attended by Indonesian Minister for Health, Siti Fadilag Supari on Tuesday, October 14th.

The ceremony will take place at the round square where the new three story facility will be located. The rooftop of the buiding will have a helipad for emergency medical evacuation. Sanglah hospiatal itself records an average of 41 adults and 2 children visit the hospital for cardio-related problems every day.

“Sanglah has taken a lot of effort in giving better service for cardio cases, unfortunately so far availability of sufficient facilities has been preventing effective and efficient service for various reasons from human resource to medical equipment. The facility will have modern related medical equipments including echocardiography, treadmill, catch lab, CPB, IBP, internal and external DC shock, invasive monitor, and cardio set.
