Bali residents who need to get reliable information around employment issues can now access online job market innitiated by the government. Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika has just officially launched online job market owned by provinvial government of Bali yesterday, October 15th at integrated service unit of Bali industrial and tourism training center in Denpasar. During the event the governor has a dialog with staffs who will run the website, epigraph signing, and inspection to facilites available at the training center.

Information accessible through www.bursakerjabali.com includes job seekers, job opportunities related requirements, prospective employers, employment agencies chanelling manpower to foreign coutries, and latest updates of employment regulations.

Those who are not conversant enough in internet technology and do not know how to access the website can pay a visit to the integrated service unit of Bali industrial and tourism training center, Jalan Imam Bonjol 603 Denpasar, to fill in a form which will then be entered by the staff on duty into the website. Prospective employers can then find their profile and contact those which fit their requirements directly.

The facility will also allow the government to measure the skill and knowledge of available work force to be compared against employers requirements. Gaps identified in between will allow the government to work on effective policy to close it, giving positive impact to both sides, eliminating unemployment on one side and improving economic growth by allowing businesses to get more suitable manpower. The reason for attaching online job market to manpower training center was to elaborate more effective education and training programs to eliminate unemployment problems.

“During my election campaign I have promised to double up per-capita-income in Bali. To achieve it, unemployment has to be eliminated by improving skill and knowledge whilst widening job availability of job opportunities. At the end, no Balinese will be unemployed unless the lazy ones”, said Pastika.
