The longstanding process on ownership conflict of Hotel Balisani has finally reached its climax as the board of judges of Denpasar court of law chaired by Hj. Istining Kadariswati announced their decree. The judges granted a right to Lie Thien Ping to sell both hotels in auction, which can be conduct even if further legal appeal placed.

Conflict of Hotel Balisani was started by inharmonious relationship among the owners of the two hotels Grand Balisani Suite and Balisani Padma, Soehardjo Gondo who owns 45% share, Lie Thien Ping who owns another 45% share, and Hendy Setiawan who owns the remaining 10%. The situation brought Lie Thien Ping to place a charge against Soeharjo Gondo at Denpasar court of law on August 2008. Additionally Lie Thien Ping also placed a report against Soeharjo Gondo at the criminal investigation department of the national police headqurter.

Judges decided to accepts proposal offered by Lie Thien Ping, coclude law violating conduct by Soeharjo Gondo both in hotel management and sale of 5 cars and other assets mutually owned by the three Balisani owners, and terminate common ownership of assets including land plots and buildings as well a all equipments and inventories of the two hotels, namely Grand Balisani Suites and Hotel Balisani Padma by granting the right to Lie Tien Ping to sell them through auction.
