To accelerate people economy and entrepreneurship, Tabanan and Badung chapters of the association of women entrepreneurs (IWAPI) holds exhibition and bazzar at Alit Saputra Square, Tabanan. The event scheduled to take place between May 22nd and June 7th 2009 was officially opened yesterday (Friday, May 22nd).
The event was officially opened by the chairman of Tabanan chapter of the Indonesian chamber of industry and trade (KADIN), Ida Bagus Putu Astina. Chairwoman of IWAPI Badung, Jero Puspawati, said that the event is expected to promote positive impact in motivating moment to conduct business activities in various sectors. Additionally the event is intended to give local people to opportunity to get various products in reasonable price, and to introduce various goods produced by local small and medium enterpises (UKM) in Tabanan and Badung.
Chairwoman of IWAPI Tabanan, Ni Nyoman Suki expressed similar intention by expressing her commitment to assist women to improve their entrepreneurship. Meanwhile the regional coordinator of IWAPI Bali and lesser sunda islands, AA Putri Puspawati hoped that with support of local government and related institutions, similar events can be held more frequently.
Chairwoman of IWAPI Bali represented by the head of organizational development, Dewi Senariati, said that in the future IWAPI will enter into more synergic collaboration to promote people economy. Putu Astina confirmend commitment of Kadin Bali to assist the organization under its arms to increase their involvements.
