Bali TV is continuously taking innovative breaktrhoughs in impelementing its commitment to guard Balinese culture and becoming a media to enlight Balinese community. The newly introcuded was Bali TV Streaming online in collaboration with PT Telkom.

Accessible through website www.balitv.tv, launching ceremony was held at Bali Press House Ketut Nadha on Tuesday (May 26th) by the President Director of BaliTV Satria Naradaha and Regional GM of PT Telkom I Gede Negara, along with other activities related to the station’s 7th anniversary.

Satria informed that the breakthrough adopts the latest technology in broadcasting industry as a real application of integrated broadcasting media in multimedia age. He hoped that by introducing video streaming online, Bali TV can fully implement is commitment to become a TV station to guard and protect Bali identity and integrity.

“Entering its 7th year in operation, Bali TV sticks to its commitment as station for culture and enlightenment for Balinese community. During its 7 year in operation Bali TV has always present programs full of Balinese culture and tradition”, he said.

In addition to protecting culture and tradition, environmental issue also has serious attention. It is important to ensure that Bali is not becoming into Hong Kong or New York. Therefore protecting environment remain one of BaliTV’s commitment in the future. In addition to culture and tradition, environment is another Balinese identity.

Accommodation the new technology allowing BaliTV programs to be accessed through websites strengthen integration between BaliTV and BaliPost newspaper which has gone online for quite a while.

Gede express his respect to the management of BaliTV for its consistency in protecting Balinese tradition and identity. “Telkom consider this cooperation as integration of commitment to adopt high technology for protecting culture and tradition heritage. PT Telkom is prepared to support bright ideas for the sake of Bali”, he said.

Gede also said that video streaming online launched by BaliTV is based on internet technology and inline with Teklom’s commitment support protection of culture and tradition. At the moment facility to promote technology has been accommodated by Bali ICT with three pilars namely infrastructure, community development, and application content.
