The Temple’s Gate Crumpled Due to the Earthquake

The earthquake shaken Bali at 6.4 scales Richter this morning caused damage and some victims with several bad injuries. At Lebih village Gianyar, a decade old temple’s gate got crumpled due to the earthquake.

That temple was Segara Desa Lebih temple. Kori agung –the entrance- was crumpled due to that 6.4 Richter earthquake.

“Part of temple that was crumpled had length for more than 1.5 meters,” as been said by Wayan Wisma (43), Kelian –head of the village- Tempekan Kelod, Lebih village Gianyar to Berita Bali press.

According to Wayan, part of the crumpled temple was built in 1932. Financial lost due to this natural disaster is estimated around one hundred million Rupiah.

The earthquake also caused three Balinese suffer bone fracture. These three victims today are under the treatment of Sanglah Central Hospital in Denpasar.
