Mendoyo, the obstruction of river’s left and right part safe-guard project with 1.2 km in length makes people who his house at the edge of the stream get anxious. If there is hard rain happens and cause flood it is possible for their house get drifted.

From an observation at the project location, on Wednesday (23/9) some civilian whose house at the edge of the river admitted their anxiety with the project delay. If flood happened again, then the erosion of the riverbank will get erode and drift their house.

“The soil of that riverbank is so labile; wash away by the flood once again then its probability to erode is extremely high thus can threatening civilians house at the edge of the river,” said by one of the civilians.

They wish for the project is finished quickly so threat for the crumble of their house will not happen.

“if it is able to the project finished quickly it will make us feel no anxious when the rain falls,” he said.
