Nusa Dua Fiesta 2009 will be held again by Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC) starting from the next 17-21 of October. At least there are eight regencies outside Bali who will participate in this annual even which has entered its thirteenth year.

The Committee Head Chief, Solichin mentioned, from those eight regencies who had ascertained their participation are Manggarai, Lampung, Mentawai, D I Yogyakarta and Bodowoso East Java.

“Every night, two or three dances will be shown including within it is Ramayana dance-drama colossal performance,” explain Solichin, in a press conference at Nusa Dua, on Thursday (30/9).

Besides several art and culture performance, Nusa Dua Fiesta this year with Green tourism as its theme will carry out some interesting activity like put sixteenth artificial corals in Nusa Dua Sea, coral transplantation, green camp Nusa Dua Fiesta, traditional skiff parade, and tortoise child.

Series of activity will not stop at that. There is also Nusa Dua Golf Tournament, and Garuda Indonesia Bali International Marathon, Make Up competition of 300 traditional grooms targeted to break MURI record (Record Museum of Indonesia), also Kebo Iwa Colossal Dance, and many other which classified into Culture-Art-Sport-Fun-Exhibition.

Chief Director of PT BTDC, Made Mandera said that Nusa Dua Fiesta event was part of Bali tourism promotion series, Mandera also state that BTDC want to realize mutual awareness of all hotels and other facilities in maintaining the balance of relationship between industrialist in BTDC area with theirs surrounding.
