Hollywood movie, Eat, Pray, Love (EPL) in Ubud Bali has given its own gift to the local farmers. Several of them got a chance became walk-on actor for Julia Roberts.

This sudden luck felt by some farmers from Bentuyung Village Ubud. While the process of taking pictures in that village, some of that farmers were given chance as the background actor of this movie.

One of the farmer who got chance to “pass by” acting is Ni Nyoman Pasek.

During two days process of taking pictures of the movie in Bentuyung Village, this old farmer woman asked to act by the Hollywood movie’s crew.

”I was asked to carried rice crop,” said Nyoman.

Another farmer, and 60 years old man named Made Mangku, also confessed that he got luck also when the crew took some of his picture.

”I was asked to perform grass reaping in the rice-field,” He explained

For that acting, both of them was paid two hundred thousand Rupiah per day and they got four hundred thousand Rupiah for their two days act.

”It is enough off course, especially to add our money for Galungan and Kuningan Day,” said Made Mangku smiled.
