Rabies Transmission Observation Organization in Bali that is Bali Rabies Forum ascertain that Bali provincial government who arranged Bali free from rabies in 2012 will failed, if the provincial government of Bali keep prioritized elimination in cope with rabies.

Bali Rabies Forum judged that in cope with rabies through eliminated numbers of dog wouldn’t be effective since the dog population is growth vastly.

The member of Bali Rabies Forum, drh. Wita Wahyu in her statement in Tabanan on Thursday, November 4th admitted that the most effective method in cope with rabies toward the society culture that is always barbarize their pet dog through vaccination. Though, the vaccine that is used should be a long term vaccine.

”It should use long term vaccine, don’t use the three months vaccines anymore. Moreover, there is seventy percents of dog population in Bali are wild dog,” asserted by drh. Wita Wahyu.

The member of Bali Rabies Forum, drh. Wita Wahyu announced that elimination in cope with rabies should have as the last option. In elimination process also it should be done selectively to the dog which showed infection characteristics.
