Number of public government official will lose their position related to institution reducing idea in Karangasem. That’s why in 2009 there is no public government official recruiting though CPNS 673 formation is formed. “Institution Reduction is still under process. Some institution is fused,” said the chief of BKD – Regional Officer Institution – Karangasem, I Wayan Miasa in Amlapura on Sunday (November 8th)

Miasa mentioned, the institution that will be fused, for instance is Communication and Informatics Institution with the Communication Department, Cooperative Society of Small Business Institution fused with Industrial and Trade Department; Regional Income Institution with Monetary Department and so on.

It is estimated that IIIa officers will lose their position as well as IIIb officers, in the future they can shifted as expert staff or non job. For example, the head position of Badan Lingkungan Hidup – Environmental Institution – Karangasem that was hold by Ni Wayan Sukrini Ssos after she resigned from her position per July 1st, 2009, that position wouldn’t fill with a new officer. Instead of being filled, that position will be hold by the First Assistance of Karangasem Secretariat Officer, I Wayan Yastra.

Whereas before, there was Institution development but after it run for a year returned to the reduction. “The institution enhancement before was an experiment. So if it is viewed as useless effort then reduction is needed,” add Miasa, former district chief and the head of Village Governmental Institution of Karangasem Secretariat Officer.
