Series of Tawur Agung Labuh Gentuh, Mendak Toya Pakelem at Segara and Mount Batur which reach its peak ceremony on December 16th precisely on Tuesday. Yesterday, on December 8th hundred of community ngaturang ayah – social work at temple – They were not come from the citizen around that area only but those people also came from several places around Bali. Besides prepared for tawur ceremony, yesterday there was also pamelaspasan Meru Tumpang 9 at Ulun Danu Batur in Batur village.

Jero Gede Batur Alitan said that immediately before the preparation of that big ceremony, hundred people keep doing ngayah. Meanwhile before that the ceremony will precede with melaspas Meru Tumpang 9.

Pamelaspasan ceremony will begin with ngadegan bagia lan ngadegang padagingan ceremony. And this ceremony will lead by Ida Pedanda – highest title for Bali’s Hindu priest –

After Meru Tumpang 9 there is also pamelaspasan Meru Tumpang 11 at Jati Segara Danu Batur temple on December 11th. In that ritual the series of ceremony will be lead by Ida Pedanda Gede Putra Bajing from Griya Telabah Denpasar and Ida Pedanda Putu Kediri from Griya Selat Bangli. After pamelaspasam Meru the series of that ceremony will continued with Nedunang Ida Bata on December 12th and December 13th to be continued with proceeding melasti ceremony to Pegonjongan temple in Buleleng and in the next day there will be Wewalungan Pepada ceremony. Meanwhile at its peak of the ceremony will be conducted on December 16th. Ida Batara nyejer will be held up to December 25th.
