Bali Wood House Component Exported into Dubai

Bali wood house that is antique and unique gazebo in various size, either small or in middle size, is largely exported to Middle East especially into Dubai.

Ready-to-use house components is made in such a way so it will open to be dismantled and installed when get arrived in consumer countries is has been popular nowadays. Beside Middle East, this kind of product also exported into U.S.A, Canada, Australia and other Europe countries, said Made Suardana, an officer of that handicrafts exporter business company.

Bali’ Ready-to-use house is welcoming well both in domestic or foreign marketing. It is not surprising then for lot of those gazebo house seller gathered along Ida Bagus Mantra Street that is from Denpasar to Gianyar, Kerobokan and Badung.

Kasubdin Perdagangan Luar Negeri Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Bali – head of sub office of Bali Foreign Trader and Industry – Ni Wayan Kusumawathi at Denpasar confessed that ready-to-use house export in which use bamboo matting is quite popular and had been exported since 1990′s into Germany, Canada and Australia.

Foreign exchange from foreign trading especially for ready-to-use house is granted for about four million US Dollar or 27.967 shipping units around January-October 2009l, said Kusumawathi.

Middle East consumers is a new marketing resource, they have 0.50 percent in this export marketing from its whole amount of foreign marketing for about 410 million dollar. Hopefully that realization could grow bigger every year.

There are several countries in Middle East recorded bought varied of crafts from Bali, the biggest importer is Dubai which carried an amount of 1.2 million dollar followed by Saudi Arabia for 599 thousand dollar and 202.966 dollar for Iran during January up to October 2009.

Dubai consumer as the larger non-oil consumer in Middle East area in which most of the stuff they bought are ready-to-use house component, furniture, bamboo crafts, household furniture from rattan and combined with bamboo make it looks antique and unique.
