Australian who get their holiday in Bali during January 2010 raise 58.86 percent compare with the same month last year which was 27.956 people.

Head of Bali Central Statistic Department, Ida Komang Wisnu said that most of the tourists who come to Bali went through Ngurah Rai Airport with an air flight straight from their homeland. “Only 378 people recorded came through the port,” said Ida Komang Wisnu in Denpasar on Tuesday (March 2) yesterday.

He said that Australia is at the top rated from the top ten countries come to Bali, followed by Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Russia, Malaysia, Dutch, France and United State of America. As what had been published by Antara yesterday, that kangaroo country give contribution for 24.77 percent from total 179.273 people in the first month of 2010, it get raised 2.71 percent compared with January 2009. Ida Komang Wisnu said that visitors came to Bali were 446.570, increase 42.62 percent compared with last year that merely 313.111 tourists.

From those ten countries, four of them showed significant escalation and six of them declined. The four countries are Australia, as well as South Korea with 26.49 percent that is raised from 8.105 Korean in 2009 becomes 10.252 followed with Holland that is from 4.444 Dutchman into 6.226 or for about 40.10 percent. The next is Russia whom get raised 2.51 percent for about 9.124 people this year from 8.901 Russian.

Six countries whom its visiting rate get declined are Japan for 23.86 percent, China 31.44 percent, Taiwan 8.55 percent, Malaysia 28 percent, France 6.17 percent and USA for 8.36 percent.
