Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) – Monetary Investigator Agency – starting to investigate Badung APBD – Badung Budgetary and Expense – in 2009. People say that in one of Satuan Perangkat Kerja Daerah (SKPD) – Working Device Unit Area – that is Dinas Pertanian (Distan) Kehutanan dan Perkebunan Badung – Badung Agriculture, Forestry and Gardening AGency – officials from BPK on Thursday (March 4) seen conducting investigation at Badung Council.

Information from trusted source mentioned that there is flow of aid funds to the farmer group at Badung Agriculture, Forestry and Gardening Agency. That 200 million fund was used for patchouli seed to the Kelompok Tani Desa Auman – Farmer Group of Auman Village – at Nungnung, Kertha Petang, Selat Taman Abiansemal. From BPK investigation, 90 percent of patchouli seeds found dead and did not maintained. This becomes BPK’s deviation discovery.

Head of Badung Agriculture, Forestry and Gardening, I Gusti Made Agung when confirmed, justified the existence of dead patchouli seeds. But, he denied it becomes the responsibility of his party. Agung instead blamed nature condition and the farmer.

He said that on November and December 2009 his party assisting fund for patchouli for the farmers. Unfortunately, on that month there was no rain fell and cause the plant died.

About BPK discovery, Agung said that there was no problem at all. Patchouli supplying process had been accordance to the regulation. Besides, supplying process cost goods supervising and examining conducted by checker team.

Meanwhile, realtod to the BPK investigation at Badung Council, Council secretary, I Komang Sutrisna justified it but he was reluctant to give the investigation material. “There was a initial investigation. For complete information just asked it to inspectorate,” said Sutrisna.
