Pangdam IX/Udayana – Commander of Military Area Number IX/Udayana – Mayjen TNI Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan in the middle of children singer festival at Puputan Badung Field in Denpasar confessed that his party had prepared security measured welcoming Obama plan of arrival into Bali.
“But it still tentative, there is still no assurance about his arrival yet,” he said.

In relation with Obama arrival to Jakarta, Hotmangaradja confessed that some areas had ordered to prepare security measurements, as well as anticipating his arrival in Bali.

Provisional information obtained was President Obama would continue his trip to the island of international tourism after visiting Jakarta around March 20-22 2010.

“We are ready in term of security, since I thought of Balinese people together with the police and TNI – Indonesia National Troops – ready to show the peaceful Indonesia,” he said while get accompanied by Kapendam IX/Udayana, Letkol CAJ Ida Bagus Gaga Ardana.

As for the form of security, Pandjaitan said that it would use their usual international security standard. “There is still no confirmation about his arrival until today, but if he really comes here we already have maximum security preparation for around eight to nine thousands personnel,” he asserted.

That is why, he explained further, for all societies’ levels and elements asked for its participation and support to keep Bali save together. “This is to keep our reputation in international point of view,” he said.

Although there is no confirmation but the arouse information mention that state officials and American consulate in Bali had coordinating with police and TNI. As far as upper echelons of Central TNI had come to Bali for their further coordination in relation with Obama security.
