Two pair regent and vice regent candidates for Badung, I Wayan Wita – I Wayan Disel Astawa (WiDi) and A.A. Gde Agung – I Ketut Sudikerta (AS) had finished all of open campaign spin. When campaign, both pair delivering their vision and mission as well as their superior program for Badung people. From their vision and mission exposure, both pairs offered to serve the people in order to change Badung people into a better state. Even though they essentially aim the same, but not few of them that is crossed each other. In another side, Badung people merely wish those who are chosen for the next five years would not delivering empty promises.

Regent-Vice Regent candidate number 1 WiDi carrying out the vision “Become One with the People Realizing Badung Samudaya (Sejahtera, Maju, Unggul, Damai Berbudaya – Prosperous, Advancing, Peaceful, and Cultured).” This vision has meaning for all. Then for the mission, WiDi attached Tri Datu that is excellent in term of health, education and economy. In every campaign, WiDi criticize a lot their rival policy that is incumbent. Several flagship programs offered. It starts from autonomy ascension, rural economy, improving the quality of public health and education quality. For instance is Rp 1 billion for rural economic improvement to each of village per year.

At their competitor, AS pair is an incumbent pair, in their campaign lots rely on their achievement and leadership accomplishment for five years that was judged had prospering Badung people. The campaign members, even the head of DPP Golkar Party, Akbar Tandjung, who could attend the last open campaign spin also proud with AS government performance. AS pair carrying vision “walked together to build Badung Shanti and Jagadhita,”  that is define into nine Badung development mission for 2010-2015.

During the campaign, vision-mission as well as their program delivered countered each other. For rural people empowerment, for instance, AS party claimed that they tend to the program approach rather than fund delivery. Besides, AS also claimed that they had assist number of fund more than WiDi, that was up to Rp 1.3 billion.

In term of health department, WiDi ready to change RSUD Badung status into an educational hospital. Meanwhile at AS party promised would conduct strategic steps developing RSUD Badung in the future and ready to change the hospital into an international standard hospital.
