The implementation of Boarder Control Management (BCM) by the immigration division at Ngurah Rai Airport arrival terminal gets several complaints. It is due to the difficult system that cost lot of their time. The tourists even have to get in line for two hours. Thus, as confessed by Badung Council member, I Wayan Puspa Negara on Sunday (May 2) yesterday.

According to Puspa, lots of immigration procedures should be filled by the tourists when they arrived at the arrival terminal. Among them is Visa on Arrval (VoA) and BCM procedures. BCM procedures obligate every international passenger to be photographed and fingerprinted. The procedure that was began from two weeks ago, said Puspa, has a positive purpose but in its implementation cost lot of time. “The stand line could wait for two hours,” said Puspa.

This inconvenient, said Puspa, complained by those foreigners since it was inversely with the tourism concept which emphasize safe and convenient trip. Thus, Puspa asked for BCM system re-evaluated for further professional formula highlighting its deviation standard.

“The tourists need high class service that is effective and efficient. Do not underestimate those tourists complaints that is why I’d like t ask for Badung Council through head of Commission B move under tourism and transportation division could conduct meeting with the immigration and the stakeholder to discuss further regarding this problem,” said Puspa.

In relation with this problem, immigration party at arrival terminal of Ngurah Rai airport asked for the related institutions could not confirmed yet.
