Bali Regional Police express their gratitude toward regional general election in five regencies and city in Bali could run safe and smooth without any meaningful disturbances.
“There is indeed little tension between two supporter of regent candidates in Bangli but all of them was solved,” said head of Bali Police Public Relationship division, Kombes Pol Gde Sugianyar when contacted in Denpasar, Wednesday.
He mentioned that generally the regional general election in five regencies or city on Tuesday (May 4) could run as what had been expected before.
There is no action recorded caused casualties or injured as what happened in the same event previous years ago.
“We feel grateful for the mature people in their democracy spirit so winner and losing problem not again becomes the conflict base leads to anarchic action,” he said.
He wished for this conducive condition maintain until all election process finished.
“We hope this kind of condition still remain. No big conflict could arouse,” he said.
When asked about the probability of chaos take place after the overall vote count conducted, he confessed that until today there is no signal any anarchy action would happen.
“I hope everything will remain conducive. That what we really hope for,” he said.
To anticipating any probability of unwanted events occur, Sugianyar confessed that his party had far away prepare trained personnel in quite enough number.
At least there were 4.032 police personnel at 3.400 election sites spread around five regencies/city hold for five regencies conducted for regional election.
Five regencies or city in Bali hold for together election were Badung Regency, Tabanan Regency, Bangli Regency, Karangasem Regency and Denpasar City.
