Minister of Manpower and Transmigration, Muhaimin Iskandar, slated to open the 2nd conference of Associaiton of Indonesian Hindu Worker Joys and Sorrows (ISDPI) at Sanur Beach Hotel, Bali, June 13, 2010.

“The event will be attended by more than 60 delegates both from government institutions as well as private companies which established ISDPI in Bali,” said I Nyoman Sudjana, the chairman for ISDPI on Monday.

He says, besides Minister Muhaimin Iskandar, the event is also expected to be attended by Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika.

The one-day event will discuss various issues including the statutes of ISDPI, drawing up a working program and formation of the new management board for 2010-2012.

Nyoman Sudjana also said that the conference is also expected will discuss a joint recommendation on the formation of ISDPI offices at each company and government institution in the region.

The social institution viewed has a very important role in contributing preservation and development of Bali’s arts and culture. This institution also takes part in collecting world funding for education and health of Balinese priests, ceremony leaders of Hindus.
