Selection process for writers participates in “Ubud Writers and Reader Festival 2010” viewed will be tougher than last year competition. It is due to the number of works entering the festival, those works come from 105 writers all around Indonesia make it double compared with last year competition in 2009. The works will be filtered by Indonesian coordinator program UWRF 2010 first in order to passing only 40 works. The works will proceeds for another selection in order to finds its winner for its English translation and masterpiece initial introduction into an international stage. All this time, UWRF had published two anthologies masterpiece of Indonesian writers, that is “Reasons for Harmony” in 2008 and bilingual anthology “Suka-Duka: Compassion and Solidarity” in 2009.
