Even though the Bali Governor received insubordination from Kadispenda Bali – Head of Bali revenue agency office – concerning online tax collecting for vehicles tax and a lot other, the governor keep insisted for the online tax method keep running. The online tax remain become the main priority to collecting tax for maximal and suppress the leakage.

Pastika said it on Information Disclosure Law briefing and socialization in Denpasar, on Saturday (June 19). When asked about the probability of this online taxing method to be cancel due to the Kadispenda attitude who raise their objection pointing that it could pamper people as their reason. Instead of the method is used to prevent illegal leakage.

Pastika who get accompanied by Provincial Secretary Nyoman Yasa and head of Public Relationship division Ketut Teneng justified that online taxing will keep running. His party has coordinated and talked about this issue to conduct immediately. “Regent and Mayor will be involved, so the taxes, including hotel and restaurant tax paid online,” Pastika asserted firmly.

Technically, every people who used hotels and restaurants when they’ve paid the fee, the ten percent tax will straightly cut and entering local cash. “So, as soon as people paid for their hotel bill, the money will cut right straightly. Every day they could check how much money entering their local cash. No need for any wage collections, since there is no wage done at the first place. Make it online. Make it available in all around Indonesia so there will be no wage collection anymore,” Pastika said.

How about Dispenda, would they willingly to do that? “Not that they did not want to do it. I had called him. It is not because he did not want to do it, he just still don’t understand it,” Pstika said noisily when informed Kadispenda Gusti Made Supartha rejection toward online tax collecting method.

Pastika also did not care with the probability of rejection from people inside the department just like what had happened with the online taxing method in Makassar that initially rejected by local revenue agency. “Indeed if this method has run, the administrative employees less of works. We will studied it technically latter. But effort for online tax collecting method stand solely for the purpose of raising public service quality. This method is not to pampering people. In the near future we hope for the hotel and restaurant tax collecting through online method,” Pastika said. Before in a hearing process between Dispenda Bali with Bali Commission II, this online tax service rejected by Kadispenda Bali, Supartha until finally the Governor called him to his office.
