Ministry of Cultural and Tourism Affair planned to register one of Balinese dance, Baris Gede Dance, to UNESCO (United Nation Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). It is one of Indonesian native dance live in Bali. The dance, according to the plan will be proposed to UNESCO this year. The registration has function to protect Indonesian cultural inheritance from other countries claim toward the culture. Initially for recent phase conducted for UNESCO registration, the related officials are still in the middle of data gathering and historical documentary in order to assure the legalization of the dance registration.
