Bali Provincial Government Imposing Progressive Tax

Progressive tax for motorcycle ownership is guaranteed will be imposed in the beginning of 2011 by Bali Provincial Government. This tax imposed in order to reducing number of vehicles in Bali that gradually increase. The tax obligate people who have more than one motorcycles’ ownership with 1.5 percent to 3.5 percent tax rising from their vehicle’s value. Head of Bali Provincial Law and Human Right Bureau, Dewa Putu Eka Wijaya Wardhana in his statement in Renon (July 28) says that the progressive tax implementation will be conducted in accordance to the KK (Kartu Keluarga) – Family’s Card – Read more about Progressive Tax in Bali here.
