Gianyar Regent, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati ordered Police Civil Service Rank to arrange the parking area around Ubud tourism object area.

“Starting from July to September the arrival of foreign tourists to Bali is increased. Ubud is one of the tourism object also goes through that significant increase. Therefore we asked for Police Civil Service Rank to arrange the parking area in Ubud,” said head of Local Boards of Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association for Bali who is also the regent of Gianyar Regency, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati, in the middle of Ubud traffic observation, on Wednesday.

He added that all this time when the volume of tourist visiting Bali increase, there are traffic jam at several tourism objects.

“One of them is Ubud. Therefore we asked for the parking area arrangement,” he said.

Particularly for Ubud, Cok Ace said that he asked for Gianyar Civil Service Police before conducted the arrangement should coordinate it first with the local Community Empowerment Institution.

“After coordinating it well then the arrangement procedure can be conducted well so there will be no miss communication problem at scene,” he explained.

He added that the arrangement is only temporary, so the traffic would not happen too long, nowadays his party is still designing the development of central parking in Ubud.

“Before the development of central parking, we will develop temporary parking arrangement first,” he said.

Cok Ace continued that he was asked for people cooperation for this temporary parking arrangement, the same he asked also to the guides for them to park the vehicles at the space provided.

“Let us together preserving Ubud conformity,” said the man who is also the public figure for Puri Agung Ubud.
