Bali Police Invite Three Human Trafficking Experts

Third Officials of the Specific Crime Unit for Criminal Detective Directorate of Bali Police invite three expert in human trafficking in relation with the case happened to five college students in Bali.
Head of Third Official of the Specific Crime Unit for Criminal Detective Directorate of Bali Police, AKBP I.B. Megeng in Denpasar, on Thursday, explained that those experts come from Bali Men Power Agency of Badung Regency as well as from Indonesia Men Power Service Distributor.
“We’ve had invited three experts to ask for their statement regarding authorization as well as the legality of the company run in men power delivering service,” he said.
He mentioned that in this investigation his party not yet achieves any result aiming to the human trafficking suspicion. It only when related to the article about fraud and employee placement abroad increased.
“Today we have not yet seen the result, it because we still investigate other witnesses,” he said.
Although, he viewed that the investigator is in the middle of two articles at once, that is about fraud and the other is employee placement abroad.
Asked once again about the probability for the practicing of human trafficking, he said that his party still could not ascertain it yet. According to the plan, his party starting from next week will conduct investigation toward Lembaga Pendidikan Latihan Pariwasata (PLP) – Tourism Training Education Institution – in Badung.
Until today, he says his party had investigated nine witnesses including the five victims, Ni Nyoman Endra Martini (25), Ni Luh Sayu Hary Sudewi(23), Ni Luh Putu Era Yudiasari(23), Ni Luh Putu Ayu Rismadewi(23) and Ni Komang Purnamasari( 23), three expert for testimonial or opinion and other witnesses.
As has been reported previously, those five Balinese college student reported became the victim of human trafficking in Malaysia. They were cheated with improper job did not match with what has been promised before.
They even did not pay for two months until finally they were saved by Indonesian embassy in Kuala Lumpur. At first, they promised to work at hotel sector but in fact, those five students should work at one of electronic factory in Pinang Island Malaysia.
