Fifteen member of Kutai Kertanegara Regional Government are visiting Bali Travel News office, member of Bali Post Press, Friday (August 6) yesterday. This visit is part of series of their cooperation phase for tourism promotion and publication of Kutai Kertanegara Regency through tourism media, Bali Travel News.
Group of Kutai Kertanegara Government is led directly by the Regency Secretary, Dr. H.K.A.P.M Haryanto Bachroel, Drs. Ec.M.M., accompanied by head of public relationship Sri Wahyuningsih. They were welcomed by line of Bali Travel News editor.
Haryanto Bachroel said that Kutai Kertanegara tourism potential is very large indeed especially for the culture, it has strong relationship with Kutai Kertanegara sultanate Ing Martadipura. In order to wake the tourism in their region, Kutai Kertanegara Regional Government held annual festival, Erau, as a form of respect as well as Kutai sultanate cultural preservation.
With this tourism potential, hope it could bring contribution for people welfare. Thus, the regional government will conduct varied effort in introducing this potential. He hope that in the future there will be publication and promotion cooperation for tourism potential in Kutai Kertanegara through Bali Travel News.
The tourism promotion activity is the right step as well as a strategic one and has future prospect. It is due to Bali is the icon for Indonesia tourism development, also the highest tourist contributor for tourism destination on western and eastern part of Indonesia. Moreover, the data showed that from 6.323.730 tourists go Indonesia and come from 184 different countries, 2.229.945 tourists go straightly to Bali. It means foreign tourism marketing for Indonesia become market area for Bali tourism.
This is the sign that the decision to promote Kutai Kertanegara tourism potential through Bali is correct and strategic. 30 percents tourists visiting Bali is the sleep out tourist and targeting Bali Beyong, this market chance does those tourists want to get through the door in Bali.
