Around a month ago, this central government area still open for public. However, recently, the central government area gives “scary” atmosphere with Badung Civil Service Officer tight security. Bar entrance at front of the central government always closed. People who want to enter this area should ask permission first from the official guarding at that time.

At the working day, Badung Central Government become the center of activities for bureaucracy together with the people representative or Badung council work on their daily activities. At this working day also the bar entrance always open. The guard is always stand-by but common people could still have access entering the area.

It is different when there is holiday, Puspem Badung – Badung Central Government – as if to change into a sport area as well as a recreational area for people. Wide Pupem area makes it become a suitable place for people exercise their body. According to one of the employee in Badung Regional Government, when he enjoy jogging in Puspem area, suddenly Gde Agung grazed by a motor rode by one young man. It was not the regent fault but that young man who rode his motor carelessly. That accident spontaneously make the government surprised and angry. It was not clear whether the regent have yet scold the boy or not but it was true that the regent, after the incident, straightly went to the checkpoint at the Puspem gate. Straightly he ordered the guard to close the barn every holiday.

Common people are not allowed to in and out freely. Gde Agung Regent did not want Puspem Badung area become an inconvenient place due to some of careless boy. “The order is only those with business here could enter. For people who want to exercise or have recreation here are still allowed in one condition that their motorcycle should park close to the post gate,” said an officer who did not want his name mentioned.
Therefore, since that incident, the gate for Puspem Badung on holiday is guard tightly. The barn always closed and the visitor should report first to the post.

When asked for information about it, head of Badung Public Relationship and Protocol Division, I Gede Wijaya, on Sunday (August 15) yesterday confessed that they have heard that incident. Still, about the truth of that incident has not known yet and he did not know about it either. “I’ve heard it once but I didn’t know is it true or not. It is including also with either or not it has relationship with security in Puspem,” he said.

According to him, Puspem Badung guard tighter due to ascertain the security and convenient in the area. The people are allowed to use Puspem for exercise activity but need to take concern with the security and environment preservation also so it now has tighter security. “It is clear that Puspem is always open for the people in regard for the people could also take part in preserving the security and preservation of the area,” he said.
