Badung Regent, A.A. Gde Agung in the near future will reform Badung Hospital management in order to raise the health service to the people.

“Hospital management reformation is part of the need in increasing health service for the people,” said Gde Agung Regent to the press in Mangupura, Mengwi on Tuesday.

Management reformation, he said, is a preparation part in increasing the local hospital status into a Public Regional Service Agency.

Previously, various scrutinizes and criticisms posed by council and people about the quality of that hospital that is not maximal yet.

“We have already raised Badung General Hospital status and off course sooner we will raise its service quality too before shift the status one level higher into a Public Hospital,” he said.

In concern with how far does the Public Service Hospital establishment process walk so far, Regent Gde Agung said that until today the process has been at the Badung Local Secretariat. All documents needed for hospital status change has been delivered to Badung Hospital party for further arrangement.

“Now the process was at Local Secretariat, the continuation step will be the judgment, conducted by Local Secretariat,” he added.

Moreover, with the reformation conducted will be focused in its service quality increase through reforming the recent management in this hospital.

One of the reformations performed is preparing for capable human resource work at the hospital that situated in Kapal Village.

Previously, numerous fractions in Badung Council posed criticisms toward the existence of Badung Local Hospital that is viewed not optimal and not professional in giving health service for the people.

The council also criticize health service in Badung that is judged unable to make it fast, cheap, save and reachable by the people.

In the end, the fractions at Badung Council finally accepting status raising from local hospital into public hospital with a hope that there will be health quality service increase followed that status.
