The plan of charity program in Nusa Penida criticized. It is just not marked untargeted, but it is worried just ceremonial. It is not touched the importance of the reduction of poverty context. The program is just temporary. It is not effective to the reduction of poverty. It is said by the representatives comes from Nusa Penida named Wayan Misna yesterday (30/8)

Some members of DPRD come from Nusa Penida also told the same thing. They just watch if the poverty becomes a commodity for government. It is planned together with the declaration of Conservation of Water Area (KKP) in Nusa Penida, September 2010. This program will be attended by The Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs and Tourism and also the minister. We are afraid the poor citizen could not enter the location because it will be closely guard.

“This thing often happened. When the program happened, the officer shows their enthusiasm to help the poor citizen but after it has been done, there is no continuous program to help them anymore,” said Misna.

It is agreed by the other representatives comes from Nusa Penida named Ketut Panca. The charity program to prevent the poverty has not been visible the result target. The Representatives also never been talked about that. “It will be same with the other ceremonial programs. It will not touch the target. It is temporary and discontinue,” said Panca. The prevention of poverty, he said, it needs long time and must be simultaneously.

The Head of Bappeda named A.A. Ngurah Agung is not giving comments when he asked to confirmed about the charity program. He stated it is designed with full preparations and the target is clear. It is not temporary and will be continue also empower the people. “The one of the continue program is PNPM. At this moment, it is not realized but after this charity program it will be realized,” he said.
