Although it has been a year Mangupura known as the capital city for Badung regency, hence the face of this city is still hazy. It has invited some critiques from Badung Council members. The Council forced Badung Regency to immediately arranged Mangupura area.

Member of Commission C of Badung Council, I Putu Alit Yandinata, on Sunday (September 5th) said that Mangupura face still has not been seen protruding and could not able to draw the real face of Badung capital. He viewed that the arrangement of Badung city needs to be done immediately. It is due to the place that would become discerned pride for Badung. All this tie lots of people or even intergovernmental guests who asking for the exact location of Badung capital. As been known before, Badung capital according to PP No. 67 / 2009 covers nine villages in Mengwi District.

Moreover, Alit Yandinata forced the government to arrange immediately the capital. It will cover utilities provision and other supporting infrastructures such as sport center and representative market. For instance is arranged immediately the traditional market of Sempidi and sidewalk at front of capital area. aside from regional arrangement the government should also arrange the district capital. “It was hoped that the 2011 budgetary fund of Badung would budgeted fund for arranging face of Badung capital,” Alit Yandinata said.

Badung Regent, A.A. Gde Agung himself in several occasions casted plan of arranging face of Badung Regency. One of them is through establishing parks alongside the street, but it still becomes Badung priority in 2011.
