Mabes Polri – Indonesian Police Central Base – determined Bali as one of area in Indonesia considered having main priority and security during Lebaran aside from Java and Lampung. The island considred as one of the area receive security priority is due to the area that is the potential target for tourism during holiday. Head of Bali Police Public Relationship in his statement in Denpasar (August 5) stated that in order to secure the annual influx and Lebaran holiday, Bali Police had prepare 1.700 personnel spread in all regencies/city in Bali including at the tourism objects in Bali. One of ways they conducting is through highlighting police officers in uniform so that the tourists will feel more safe during their holiday in Bali.
