Some Famous Bali’ Bands and Singers Glittering Art Center

Twelve solo singers and twelve Bali’s bands under The Association of Celebrity, Music Arranger and Bali’s Song Writer (Pramusti Bali) held a concert in Art Center tomorrow. The concert purposed for celebrating the Indonesia’ independence day also the building exhibition by Bali’ Government. Meanwhile the form of the Pramusti Bali’ concert will be presented many singers colossally in the form of band or solo. Subak Buleleng Proceeds to National Competition

After a win against all of their competitors in Bali Subak Competition, Subak Poh Asem from Mayong Village, Seririt District of Buleleng Regency proceeds to the national farmer association of water user in Surakarta, Middle Java, from August 27 to 23, 2010. Subak Compeition and Subak Abian of Bali Provincial level is part of annual activity that could bring benefits for all people. Through this competition, the people would know straightly the application of Tri Hita Karana concept (maintaining balance relationship with God, nature and among humans) at that village together with the potential they have. The Governor Proclaimed Balinese Indian Friendship Association

On 15th August 2010 in the celebration of the Independence Day of India Republic, the community of India citizen and Balinese in Bali proclaimed a friendship institution called Balinese Indian Friendship Association (BIFA) in Ball Room Bali Dynasti Hotel, Kuta. This international event attended by not less than 500 invitations. Half of them are belongs to India’s ethnic who lived in Bali. The Chairman of the committee, Mrs. Neeta Maholtra was explained if this association had found to strength the relationship between Balinese and India citizen. Bali-India Friendship Inauguration on the Independent Day

Bali India Friendship Association (BIFA) is a group formed to deepening friendship between Balinese and Indian in the island. The inauguration for this association is conducted on Sunday (August 15th) at Bali Dynasty Resort, Kuta. This event was supported by Indian Republic Embassy in Jakarta and Indian Cultural Center Bali (ICCB). The event also marked the celebration of 47th Indian Independency as well as welcoming 65th Indonesia Republic independent day also. The show was enlivened with series of cultural performance, the result of Bali-Indian cooperation. There is also Indian Food Festival presented varied of that country’s food. Bali Possibly to Host 8Th World Choir Games

8th World Chir Games (WCG) probably takes place in Bali in 2014, a local government official said.

“A very large number of participants from different countries will participate in this international event,” said I Putu Suardhika, the head of Bali provincial administration’s public relations and protocol affairs bureau, said on Friday.

He hopes for the event would improve Bali image in the near future foremost for its tourism including Indonesia’s figure generally in the eyes of international community.

“Bali Vice Governor AAN Puspayoga received a team from the Culture and Tourism Ministry that gave official explanations about the planned international event,” Putu Suarhika said.

Culture and Tourism Ministry team, led by Nur Muslim said that Indonesian government had conveyed their offer to host the 8th World Choir Games to the “Interkultur Foundation Germany”.

“That proposal mentioned Jakarta and Bali as the two possible venue option for the event. I hope that the choice will fall on Bali. Principally, Bali is ready and willingly to support and host that WCG 2014 event. If this ‘Island of Gods’ get the opportunity to host this world event, certainly would bring numerous benefits for Bali,” Putu said.

The benefits would include orders to meet the consumption needs of 110.000 people, providing 250 tourism buses, 250,000 hotel rooms and aircraft tickets for the festival’s guests.

Bali deserved to be chosen as the host, according to Putu Suardhika, because it is he ultimate tourism destination for Indonesian and foreigners. Besides, Bali also has appropriate facilities for the games, apart from its unique culture and arts attractions.

“The types of choir that will compete in the international festival are gospel, folk , pop, and jazz vocal groups. It will also feature a dance competition. The competition categories are for children, adolescents, women, men, and mixed groups,” Putu Suardhika added.

“Fun Yoga” in Sanur Festival

Fun Yoga activity, that is a relaxing body movement was held as the last series of event at Sanur Village Festival (SVF). Ana, a Seger Oger instructor in Sanur, Bali, on Sunday (August 8th) says that during the SVF the activity they done was “Sunrise Yoga” welcoming the morning sun and “sunset yoga” conducted approaching the dusk. Bali Open 2010 Table Tennis Competition

There are 8 table tennis association from outside Bali and 18 that are from Bali will participate in table tennis competition “Bali Open 2010.” The competition will be held on August 6-8 tomorrow. In this Bali Open 2010, the group competition will be followed by 26 group whilst male junior category enliven by 42 athletes, 21 athletes at female junior category and about 26 pro athletes. the Competition Division, Made Sudana stated that number of participants in this Bali Open 2010 has hit the target.
