Indonesia is an archipelago state vulnerable to become a chemical disposal site and other dangerous materials that frequently happened recently. Around 2.000 locations in Indonesia could become potential entrance gate for the traffic of dangerous chemical waste. This, as been said by the Minister of Environment, Prof. Dr. Gusti Muhammad Hatta, M.S., on Monday (February 22) as he was the speaker on an extraordinary meeting of Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Convention Signing in Nusa Dua. In relation with this international cooperation also there are some high level decision had been decided. For instance is Bali Strategic Plan Capacity Building and Technology Transfer, Bali Road Map on Climate Change and Bali Declaration on Waste Management and Human Health. PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko promoting their tourism objects through Bali that begin with a dialog in the company of the whole holders of tourism interest in Bali. Team from Borobudur to Bali, on Friday (February 19) accepted by 200 members of Asosiasi Tur dan Travel Indonesia (Asita) Bali – Bali’s Indonesia Tour and Travel Association – as well as with the other tourism interest holders. The visiting itself is in oder to make those three world heritage enshrines in Middle Java becoming nearer to Bali tourism components. The eleventh meeting Special Session of UNEP Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum (GC-UNEP) held from February 21 to February 26 this year in Nusa Dua Bali collected criticism from environmental organization concerning its information produces in that meeting that is not for public consumption. Although, this meeting could gain some advices and suggestions from the civil people that is viewed as the most necessary thing to do. Bali Local Police starting to imposing Standar Keamanan dan Keselamatan Villa (SKKV) – villas’ security and safety standard – in Bali. That security and safety standard is imposed in order to minimize criminality against tourists who stay at villa. The enactment of villas’ security and safety standard is the continuation of hotel security standard that had been imposed first that stand as a part of international security standard realization in Bali. Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI) Bali – Hindu’s highest council in Indonesia – urged for Hindu, especially for its young generation at “Pengrupukan” night on March 15, 2010 or a day before the holy day Nyepi Caka 1932, to conduct ogoh-ogoh parade in order. This kind of effort is needed in order to keep conducive atmosphere and get rid of unwanted event to take place. The number of French visiting Bali gets raise for 46.62 percent, and it is for about 113. 453 of them who comes to Bali whether on last year visiting, number of French was 77.379 people only. Visual Communication Design Student of ISI Denpasar exhibited their 65 artwork of paintings and three dimensionals instalation with “Arttitude” theme at Denpasar Junction Bali for six days up to Sunday (February 21). This exhibition covers paintings on the canvas, poster and three dimension installation.
